How To Report a Claim

In an emergency, call 911 immediately. For non-emergency incidents, please report your workplace injury claim following the steps below: 

  1. Employee (or their manager) should contact Company Nurse*, NCSDIA's partner for members' nurse triage services.
  2. An occupational nurse will then triage the situation and be able to refer workers for appropriate care.
  3. The nurse will also collect basic information about the injured worker, which will be used by NCSDIA to initiate a claim.

*Company Nurse contact information is available at each member site or can be obtained from the District’s Human Resource office.
